Roswell Police are investigating a double homicide following a shooting in the southern part of the city.
Officers say they responded Sunday to reports of gunfire near the intersection of East Wells Street and G Street, an area locally known as the “base.”
When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had been struck multiple times by gunfire. Inside, investigators located two individuals who were pronounced dead at the scene. Police say both victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or any information about possible suspects at this time.
The incident remains under investigation as officers work to determine what led up to the shooting.
