Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Santa Fe Opera goers from outside Santa Fe will have a new perk this year. The Opera and Rio Metro Regional Transit District announced the expansion of the Rail Runner train during opera season. Beginning July 3rd a special late-night Rail Runner train will run after Friday and Saturday performances giving opera-goers from Albuquerque and all communities in between a convenient round-trip travel option. A $25 ticket will include round trip transportation from Albuquerque stations and all stops in between and the Santa Fe depot. Round trip shuttle transportation between the Santa Fe Depot and the Santa Fe Opera is also included in the ticket price. Opera tickets are sold separately.
