Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Two Lobo men’s basketball players received awards today. The Mountain West announced that Freshman Jake Hall was named Mountain West Freshman of the Year and was also a first-team All Mountain West selection. Hall is now the third player in Lobos history to be named MW freshman of the year and joins former players Kendall Williams and JT Toppin. As Freshman of the Year he is also the third to be named to the first team, joining Kawhi Leonard of San Diego State and Anthony Bennett of UNLV. Named to the second-team All-Mountain West, Tomislav Buljan. Buljan was the only player in the conference to average a double-double with 12.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Buljan led the conference in rebounding and double-doubles.
