Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –One man is in custody for stabbing another man while on board an ART bus last Thursday. According to court documents, Christopher Maes stabbed the victim multiple times while the man was asleep in a seat in the back of the bus. The victim was able to get away from Maes, leave the bus and call 911 for help. When police arrived, the victim was being treated for his injuries and was taken to a hospital. A description of the suspect was given to APD and using the Real Time Crime Center were able to locate Maes. He’s being charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and tampering with evidence for hiding clothing and the weapon allegedly used in the attack.
