ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO – New Mexico State Fair officials have announced that Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Tanya Tucker will join the 2026 rodeo‑concert series. Tucker is scheduled to perform on Friday, September 18, following the Chevron PRCA Rodeo.
Tucker first gained national attention at age 13 with her hit “Delta Dawn.” Over the decades, she has released 23 Top‑40 albums, 56 Top‑40 singles, and earned 10 No. 1 hits on the Billboard country charts. Her career includes multiple honors, including two CMA Awards, two ACM Awards, three CMT Awards, and two GRAMMYs for Best Country Album and Best Country Song.
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. Fair officials say more entertainment announcements will be released in the coming months.
The 2026 New Mexico State Fair runs from September 10–20 and will feature concerts, rodeo events, and special programming celebrating the 100th anniversary of Route 66.
