Las Vegas, NM (KKOB) – Three people are dead as a result of a fire in Las Vegas, New Mexico over the weekend. Today, the state’s Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire that happened early Saturday morning around 5 a.m. on the 1300 block of Pecos Street. in northeastern Las Vegas.
The Santa Fe New Mexican reports, that according to TA Rodeo and family members of the victims identified them in Facebook posts as Austin Apodaca, 22; Geno Gonzales, 21; and Desiree Trujillo, 21.
Apodaca and Gonzales were talented bull riders, according to TA Rodeo, a family-owned New Mexico rodeo stock contractor and producer.
