Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Another NM community is considering a temporary ban on fireworks. The town council in Mountainair will meet tonight to consider the ban which if approved, the use of all fireworks withing the town’s limits will be banned. Mountainair’s mayor, Peter Nieto said weather conditions did not improve reducing fire risk so additional measures are needed to help protect the community. The council meeting will be at 6pm tonight.
