Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The owners of Santa Fe Market say that the city’s first traditional food hall will open this fall, likely in September or October. They say their goal is to have a sophisticated environment with what they call “fast, casual” offerings. The idea is to have high-end cuisine done in a fast casual way, done by Santa Fe folks who live there, build their businesses there, and maybe perhaps have a restaurant available but want a fast casual concept. The owners, who also own Sawmill Market in Albuquerque, will be Heritage Co.’s third food hall. At 18,000 square feet, they think it’s the perfect size for the area, saying “It’s not going to be as big as Sawmill, but then Santa Fe’s not as big as Albuquerque.
