Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A new judge has been appointed to serve on the First Judicial District Court filling a new judicial position created during the 2026 Legislative session. Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham appointed long-time attorney, Dylan O’Reilly to fill the new seat. He will take the bench on Saturday, July 4th. The new judgeship will serve the district that includes Santa Fe, Rio Arriba and Los Alamos counties. O’Reilly will serve until the next general election. O’Reilly brings more than 20 years of legal experience to the court and was once a commissioner with the State Bar of NM. He earned his law degree from UNM Law School in 1999.
