ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are investigating a suspicious death at a home in northwest Albuquerque.
Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of 72nd Street NW, where a deceased person was found inside.
Authorities have not released the identity of the individual or details about the cause of death.
SWAT personnel were also called to the scene as detectives worked to secure and prepare search warrants as part of the investigation.
Police say the case remains active, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
Members of the media were asked to stage in the area of Fortuna Road between Quailbrush and the West Mesa Aquatics Center while crews worked the scene.
