Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Albuquerque Police are investigating an apparent homicide which initially was reported as a traffic crash and fatality. Shortly after midnight early Wednesday morning, officers from the Southeast Area Command were called to a crash in the area of Alvarado and San Juan in Northeast Albuquerque. The initial reports indicated that a crash had occurred resulting in a fatality. Once officers were on the scene, they found that the victim had additional injuries that showed the death was not the result of a crash and homicide detectives were called to the scene and now the investigation into the death continues today.
