Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A warning this over consuming Nara Organics infant formula. The New Mexico Department of Health advising families to stop using the baby formula, after being linked in other states to at least three hospitalizations.
The Food and Drug Administration has confirmed the three botulism toxin infections occurred in infants in California, Pennsylvania and Washington who consumed Nara Organics formula and are continuing their investigation on the infections.
NO cases have been reported in New Mexico of infant botulism which can cause muscle paralysis, difficulty breathing and even death.
