Santa Fe, NM (KKOB) – Santa Fe fire crews working a fire this morning at the Hotel Santa Fe at 1501 Paseo de Peralta. Calls about a fire at the hotel came in just before 5:00 a.m. Thursday and upon arrival Santa Fe police began evacuating hotel occupants due to visible smoke showing on the scene. Santa Fe firefighters began fire suppression operations. The fire was contained around 5:45 a.m. Santa Fe Police reported that two Sergeants and 5 Police Officers were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and were last reported in stable condition.
Fire investigators are still on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
