Santa Fe, NM (KKOB) – The Santa Fe Police Department has arrested 32 year old Raymond Sean Lopez of Santa Fe, after he turned himself in peacefully at Santa Fe Police Headquarters. Lopez had an active arrest warrant for Robbery, two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Battery.
Earlier in the day Tuesday, SFPD special operations officers included special weapons and tactics operators, explosive ordnance disposal team technicians, K9 handlers, and unmanned aerial system drone pilots all made an attempt to arrest Lopez at a residence and find evidence related to the investigation of an armed robbery but he wasn’t there.
He turned himself in in the afternoon and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center, charged with robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and aggravated battery.
