Artesia, NM (KKOB) – A 16-year old is in custody sin southeast NM, in connection with several shootings and drug dealing. State Police arrested Jedidziah Juarez last month, but until further investigations took place, the information wasn’t released till now.
Officers made a traffic stop on Highway 285 on a Nissan Altima and obtained a search warrant of the vehicle and discovered several firearms, automatic weapons, ammunition and narcotics. After doing ballistics testing, one of the firearms investigators determined that one of the firearms was connected to two shootings in Roswell.
He is charged with several counts including drug trafficking and posession of deadly weapons. Juarez was also under investigation by Artesia PD in connection with a shooting in that city.
