Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Albuquerque Fire Rescue says a woman who was reportedly swept into an arroyo by fast-moving flash flood waters is now out of the water and alive. Authorities responded after reports of a person being carried away by sudden floodwaters. Officials remind people that flash flooding can develop quickly during monsoon storms. Never attempt to drive or walk through moving water, and stay out of the arroyos.
