SANTA FE, N.M. — New Mexico is launching a new digital mental wellness platform aimed at helping teens manage everyday challenges.
Beginning this week, teens ages 13 to 18 in Taos County will have free access to Navi, a web-based app designed to support emotional well-being. State officials say the program is expected to expand to all 33 counties in New Mexico.
According to the New Mexico Health Care Authority, the app offers activities focused on stress management, emotional regulation, and help-seeking. It also includes built-in safety features that connect users to crisis resources when needed.
The platform is available in both English and Spanish and can be used on phones, tablets, or computers. An offline version is also included for rural and tribal communities with limited internet access.
Officials say local teens helped shape the app through a pilot program in Taos County, providing feedback on content and design. A statewide network of student ambassadors will support outreach as the program expands.
The state plans to mark the launch with a Teen Wellness Festival in Taos on June 28.
