Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The driver in a crash last month that killed a retired Albuquerque police lieutenant will remain behind bars. Artem Durnov was driving the wrong way while intoxicated on Interstate 10. His vehicle was hit head on causing the death of retired APD Lieutenant Eric Wilson. After a hearing on Tuesday the court decided to keep Durnov behind bars without bond until trial. He is facing charges of homicide by vehicle, aggravated fleeing, and driving under the influence.
