Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) —
On Monday several law enforcement officers, emergency responders and firefighters were hospitalized after a possible overdose death in Silver City. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said an overdose response to the Silver City Trailer Park led to 10 first responders being taken to a hospital. This came after an apparent airborne exposure caused an EMS worker to collapse. The initial victim for the response has died. GCSO reports that the home was secured for a Drug Enforcement Agency hazmat team to process the scene safely.
