Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The public’s help is needed by the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office in helping identify a Jane Doe whose remains were found December 2nd of 1974, 6 miles south of Santa Fe. Investigators believe the victim was between 14 and 19 years old and may have died of strangulation days before her body was found. Officials believe the victim was sexually assaulted and found without clothing. She was 5 feet 2 inches tall weighing around 110 pounds with strawberry blonde hair and blue gray eyes. The medical examiner noted a surgical scar believed to be from a cesarean section. Anyone with information is asked to call the Santa Fe Sheriff’s office.
