Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Today the president and CEO of Presbyterian Rishi Sikka announced a plan to help the organization maintain its health system while expanding access to New Mexicans. The plan contains two points, the first being the reduction of 150 health plan and administrative positions. In addition, the second point states the health care plan will no longer cover most Medicare Advantage plans, starting in 2027. While coverage for 2026 will remain the same, the change for 2027 is expected to affect about 30,000 health plan members who will need to find new coverage.
