Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A large emergency response team is on site at the Town recycling plant fire in the area of the south valley located off Broadway Boulevard, south of Rio Bravo Boulevard. A total of 11 apparatus and 40 personnel are assigned to the incident. Additional support is being provided by Albuquerque Fire Rescue and the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office. Currently, Broadway Ave is closed in both directions at Prosperity St. Drivers in the area are advised to be aware of possible traffic congestion and plan appropriately. This is the same location of a fire involved in a May 23rd incident
