Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Today the Sunport hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of a couple of local restaurants. Mayor Tim Keller, on-hand for the ceremony said, “Laguna Burger” and Frank’s Famous Chicken and Waffles were chosen not only to improve the traveling experience, but to highlight iconic New Mexico dining. Adding that the city is making sure that we honor our commitment to local businesses, and to showcase some of the very best of Albuquerque and New Mexico. The new restaurants are another step in the Sunport’s Dream of Flight renovation, which is only one more renovation away from being fully complete.
