Grants, NM (KKOB) – A Cibola County man is jailed today facing several charges related to possession of child sexual abuse material. Floyd Anthony Ethridge was arrested by Cibola County sheriff’s detectives and FBI agents at his home in Cubero, NM.
Court records indicate that investigators found more than 60 images of minors engaged in sexually explicit acts on two cell phones. According to police, Ethridge admitted that he had previously used apps such as Telegram and Zanie to obtain child sexual abuse material.
Police arrested Ethridge who is charged with criminal sexual contact of a minor under the age of 13, and three counts of sexual exploitation of children including manufacturing, distribution and possession of sexual exploitation of children.
Ethridge is being held at the Cibola County Detention Center. His first court appearance will be on Monday.
