Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – Homicide detectives for Albuquerque Police Department are investigating the city’s latest murder. Police received 911 calls and the APD ShotSpotter system recorded several shots fired in the area of Fox Memorial Park at Alvarado Dr and Marquette Ave N.E. around 12:38 a.m.
Once officers arrived at the park they found a man who was shot and dead on the scene. APD reports that one person detained for questioning. No other details have been released as this is a developing story.
