Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –The 37th Annual Bataan Memorial Death March was held Saturday at White Sands National Park. Hundreds were on hand to honor those who endured the original march over 80 years ago. The march this year was reduced to a little more than 15 miles due to the warm weather. It’s usually 26.4 miles long. The annual march brings participants from across the globe and pays tribute to those we lost and those who survived the march in 1942.
