ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deputy-involved shooting that occurred Tuesday in southwest Albuquerque.
According to BCSO, the shooting happened near Gonzales Road SW and 64th Street SW. Deputies remain on scene as investigators work to determine the circumstances that led to the incident.
The sheriff’s office said no deputies were injured during the shooting.
Authorities have not released information about a suspect, whether anyone else was injured, or what led up to the encounter.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details are expected to be released as they become available.
