Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Federal wildland fire officials have identified the support crew member on the Frijoles Fire who died after a medical emergency. The crew member, 62-year old Randy Lupe was from the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation in Arizona. Lupe died Sunday while providing temporary emergency support at the San Carlos Camp. A spokesperson from the Interior Department says the department is facilitating support for Lupe’s family, coworkers and loved ones affected by his death.
