Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A defense and space technology company, BlackVe Inc, celebrated the opening of its new manufacturing facility at MaxQ, a high-tech commercial campus on Kirtland Air Force Base today. BlackVe’s satellite manufacturing facility is expected to create 152 high-paying jobs over the next 10 years. The State of NM is investing $1 million in LEDA funds with the City of Albuquerque contributing $250,000 in local LEDA funds along with a 20 year Industrial Revenue Bond to support BlackVe’s expansion. In addition to LEDA funding, BlackVe has been awarded funding through the state’s Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) to hire and train up to 28 employees.
