Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A stabbing at a south Santa Fe Allsups has resulted in an arrest. Alberto Velasquez Rivera is accused of stabbing an employee of the Allsups during a fight on Sunday. Rivera showed up Sunday afternoon with three other men when Rivera entered the store and threatened to slash the employees tires. The employee said he had never seen the four men before. The employee went outside to tell the four men to leave when a fight ensued and Rivera stabbed the employee in the chest. Police noted that surveillance footage corroborated the employee’s story. The men drove away but were stopped by Santa Fe PD where Rivera was arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and assault. The Allsups employee was treated at a hospital and released.
