Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A longtime downtown restaurant has been shut down after city inspectors found safety concerns. Officials say Lindy’s Diner was ordered to close following a follow-up inspection by the Code Enforcement Division. The inspection was prompted by complaints to the city’s 311 line and identified serious building violations.
The city issued an emergency vacate order, keeping the diner closed until repairs are made. Officials say older buildings are valued but must meet safety standards
