Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Rio Rancho Public Schools has a new board member. Dr. Stephanie Smith has been appointed to replace the recent departure of Dr. Beth Miller. Dr. Smith has more than 16 years of experience in education and holds a Ph.D. in Special Education. She taught in the district for several years and is a parent to two current Rio Rancho Public School students. She was officially sworn in during a scheduled board meeting Monday.
