Santa Fe, NM (KKOB) – Santa Fe Police confirming an accident during Monday morning rush hour on St. Francis Drive, resulted with a pedestrian being killed. The accident happened around 5:45 Monday morning just north of the intersection with West San Mateo Road in Santa Fe. According to police, the victim was walking outside of the crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle and died on the scene. The deceased is a 70 year old Hispanic male that resides in Santa Fe. The victim’s identity is pending notification of their next of kin which investigators continue to work to locate.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
