Washington, DC (KKOB)- According to new information nearly 50,000 people were arrested across the U.S by Immigration and Customs Enforcement just in the month of July, which is the highest single monthly arrest total during the second Trump administration.
The July arrest total is a 15% jump from June and a 70% increase from February.
The information was provided by ICE to the University of California, Berkeley’s Deportation Data Project and analyzed by The Associated Press, as reported by ABC News.
In recent days, a much higher number of arrests have been made in New Mexico, particularly in the Santa Fe area where in one day a dozen arrests were made including a man arrested in front of his 11-year old daughter who he was taking to a medical appointment.
