Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Santa Fe Police Special Operations arrested Reese Jenson of Oklahoma today after Jenson shot at two SFPD officers at the Motel 6 on Cerrillos Road. Late Monday night officers responded to the motel after a report of shots fired from a room on the second floor. Officers found the door to the room to have several bullet holes. After attempts to make contact with anyone inside the room officers attempted to force entry but were shot at from inside the room. After several hours SWAT was able to take Jenson into custody as he tried to escape. Jenson was booked on charges of aggravated assault against a Peace Officer, criminal damage to property and negligent use of a deadly weapon. No officers were injured during the operation.
