Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A man wanted for a murder in May of 2025 is in jail this morning here in Albuquerque.
27-year old Andrew Armijo was arrested for the murder of Edrick Miller. Armijo was riding a BMX bicycle when police say he shot and killed Miller who was sitting on a sidewalk on the 7800 block of Central between Louisiana and Wyoming. Security cameras showed Armijo fleeing on the chrome BMX bike heading south on Dallas St, immediately after the shooting.
An APD officer, arrested Armijo yesterday when he found him passed out with drug paraphernalia in the 10100 block of Central Ave., S.E. Once the officer discovered the murder warrant Armijo was placed in custody.
He remains at MDC on an open count of murder.
