Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A Neighborhood Associations battle against the installation of a New Mexico United stadium at Balloon Fiesta Park has suffered another blow, with their recent loss at an appeals court Their court fight started in 2023 when the city applied for several changes to Balloon Fiesta Park’s master plan to move the stadium forward. The city’s Environmental Planning Commission approved the application, but neighbors raised concerns. Crews haven’t broken ground on the stadium because of the legal battle. The Neighborhood Associations already tried to stop the project at the city council level, then in district court and then in the state Court of Appeals. If it continues, the next step would be the New Mexico Supreme Court,
