Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –A free summer reading program will be available for APS students beginning with kindergarten through eighth grade. APS and the NM Public Education Department are teaming up to support struggling readers while also helping advanced students sharpen their skills ahead of the next school year. APS will provide free transportation, breakfast and lunch to all participating students with classes beginning June 8th through July 17th. Classes will be offered throughout the district and parents can register students online through the APS Extended Learning website.
