ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico College of Education and Human Sciences will host its inaugural State of the College address later this month, marking the first time the college has formally presented a public overview of its progress and future direction.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, at 5 p.m. and will take place at the UNM Continuing Education Conference Center Auditorium. A virtual attendance option will also be available through Zoom.
The address will be led by Dean Kristopher M. Goodrich, who is expected to reflect on the college’s development over the past three years and outline priorities moving forward. College officials say the event is intended to provide clarity on how the college is shaping its role in education, research, and service across New Mexico.
“This is our first State of the College, and that’s intentional,” Goodrich said in a statement. He noted the timing reflects a period in which the college can assess its progress and set a clear path forward.
Community members are invited to attend, though advance RSVPs are required by Monday, April 20. Additional details, including access information for virtual attendees, are available through the college.
