Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –Bernalillo County officials are alerting motorists that a warning period is underway for speed enforcement cameras along NM-14. The warning notices for NM-14 cameras will continue through November 9th. Drivers who exceed the posted speed limit during this time may receive warning notices but will not be fined. Once the grace period is over violations captured by the cameras may result in citations. Additional cameras on NM 333 are expected to begin issuing warning notices later this month. The cameras are intended to increase driver awareness, encourage safer driving behaviors, and help reduce the risk of serious and fatal crashes on roadways.
