Rio Arriba County, NM (KKOB) – A man who is currently in jail for a murder in Rio Arriba County is now charged with First Degree Murder in the killing of two women in Taos in February of 2025.
Cesar Paz Garcia, was charged with 1st degree murder in the deaths of 33-year old Ashley Casias and 39-year old Anastacia Romo both of Taos whose bodies were found in a trailer park.
Paz-Garcia is already in jail for a separate murder of Anthony Velasquez outside a laundrymat in Ohkay Owingeh. When he was arrested he was driving a vehicle that belonged to one of the two women killed.
