Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A man arrested for another recent road rage incident in this case where the other driver was killed, will remain in jail until trial. On Tuesday, a judge decided to keep Victor Rivera – Jimenez behind bars until his trial. He is charged with an open count of murder and child abuse.
Police reported that during the road rage shooting, a woman and two children were in the vehicle with Jimenez and that after the shooting he drove with the family to a local restaurant.
Police say Rivera-Jimenez and the victim, Corsinio Martinez, got into an altercation on Unser Blvd. when Jimenez pulled a gun and shot into Martinez’s vehicle, Martinez died on scene.
