Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man who was the focus of a recent investigation involving an armed individual in the Ventana Ranch area. Deputies say Kenneth Bair was taken into custody and is charged with harassment, aggravated stalking, and aggravated assault. According to investigators, the case began after multiple residents reported concerns for their safety when Bair was allegedly seen walking through the neighborhood while heavily armed.
Sheriff’s officials emphasized that the investigation focused on the reported conduct and circumstances surrounding the incidents, not simply the possession of firearms. The investigation remains active, and BCSO says additional charges are possible. Detectives are asking anyone who believes they may have been a victim or who has information related to the case to contact the sheriff’s office at Tip 411 where you can also upload videos or pictures as well. Bair remains held without bond at MDC.
