Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – An Albuquerque man will serve over 170 years in prison after his conviction for sexually abusing a child. Arturo Zamora was accused of abusing a girl who was 12 years old and continued until she was 15. The victim had been threatened by Zamora not to reveal the abuse. Eventually she told a friend and her mother was notified who reported it to police.
Zamora faces 174 years in prison. Sentencing will take place at a later date.
