Las Cruces, NM (KKOB) – A pair of teens were arrested in Las Cruces in connection with a crime spree around the city that resulted in three stolen vehicles and burglaries of several cannabis shops.
Two teenaged boys, ages 16 and 17, are facing several charges related to the crime spree including larceny and possesion of a stolen vehicle.
It all happened early yesterday morning, when police received reports of a burglary at one cannabis shop, then several other attempted burglaries took place at several other locations around Las Cruces. The teens are accused of stealing at least 3 Hyundai’s from a local car dealer.
Eventually the teens were arrested several hours later both are held at the juvenile detention center and additional charges are possible as the investigation is ongoing.
