BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. — Bernalillo County is inviting recognized neighborhood associations to apply for funding through its Fiscal Year 2027 Neighborhood Grant Program.
County officials say the program is designed to support projects that strengthen neighborhoods by improving safety, appearance, and community connections. Eligible associations may apply for up to $7,500 for large projects or $2,500 for small projects.
Projects must take place within Bernalillo County, be led by members of the applying neighborhood association, and be free and open to residents within the association’s boundaries.
The county says neighborhood associations play an important role in fostering community engagement and collaboration, and the grant program is intended to support resident‑driven initiatives.
Applications will open at 8 a.m. on May 4 and close at 5 p.m. on June 5. Associations selected to receive funding will be required to attend a mandatory informational meeting in July.
More information and application materials are available on the county’s website at bernco.gov/neighborhood-grants.
