Santa Fe, NM (KKOB)- A man arrested for three bank robberies in Albuquerque is now a suspect in a February bank robbery in Santa Fe.
The Santa Fe New Mexican reports that according to the FBI, 61-year old Stephen Lee Davis stole more than $30,000 from all four bank robberies that happened between November and February. Davis was identified by the FBI as a suspect in the robbery of two Bank of America branches and a U.S Bank branch in Albuquerque where he allegedly threatened bank clerks claiming he was armed with a bomb and was going to set it off.
In Santa Fe, he is now a suspect in the February robbery of UMB Bank on St. Michaels Drive. He was arrested in March and remains jailed.
