Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – An Albuquerque mom is found guilty by a Bernalillo County jury in connection with the death of her 2-year old son.
Late Thursday, a jury convicted Angel Morales of two counts of tampering with evidence and conspiracy to commit tampering with evidence.
April 6, of last year, the baby’s mother left her gun on her sofa at an apartment in SE Albuquerque.
The baby boy found the gun and shot himself and died.
Morales and other co-defendants took the gun from the scene and fled.
Her sentencing will take place at a later date.
