Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – A man wanted for a 2024 Vehicular Homicide is now in custody.
Special Agents with the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office arrested Isaiah Perez Tuesday in Albuquerque.
Perez was being sought by law enforcement after an arrest warrant was issued.
Perez is wanted on charges of Homicide by Vehicle, Leaving the Scene of an Accident-Resulting in Death, Tampering with Evidence, and Failure to Obey Traffic Control Signal.
According to reports, In 2024, Perez is accused of hitting a pedestrian—killing him and fleeing the scene, then taking steps to destroy/hide evidence . Perez is booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center.
