Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) –“I am enraged and flabbergasted that this continues to be something we deal with,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairwoman Amy Barela. That was her response to finding that the party’s headquarters office in Albuquerque had been vandalized. An object was thrown through one of the glass windows late Sunday night, causing damage to both the outside and inside of the office. In her statement Barela adding that “the reality is that this type of behavior has been normalized in New Mexico in recent months because leaders in our state refuse to condemn it. One year ago, an agitator firebombed this same office, nearly causing the structure to burn down. These actions, no matter who is the target, are completely unacceptable.
